Leica DFC360 FX

Monochrome Digital Camera for Ultra Fast, High-resolution Image Acquisition Leica DFC360 FX

The Leica DFC360 FX provides excellent results in live cell imaging.

Successful high-resolution image documentation of many industrial processes, and rapidly moving objects that depend on speed.

The Leica DFC360 FX 1.4-megapixel monochrome digital camera produces brilliant images at very high temporal resolution. With state-of-the-art CCD technology, the camera achieves a maximum rate of 20 frames per second (fps) for full frame and more than 100 fps in binning mode.

The high-sensitivity sensor and active Peltier cooling support a high dynamic range even at low light intensities and with short-term exposures.

Your Advantages

Extremely high frame rates

Extremely high frame rates: with overlapping mode, the 2/3" Progressive Scan CCD sensor reads out imaging data while the next exposure is taken.

Shorter exposure times

The high-sensitivity sensor allows shorter exposure times for rapidly-fading fluorescence specimens and a significant reduction of excitation light for delicate live cells.

Ultra-fast read out of definable areas

Partial scan mode allows the ultra-fast read out of definable areas at full resolution. Can be combined with overlapping mode and binning.

Fast and reliable data transfer

With FireWire IEEE1394 b interface for fast and reliable data transfer
